I hope you like it. I am filling out my collection quite nicely! I just have to find a creme peach and a creme sky type blue! Ugh, so hard to find! I finally got my yellow the other day. I got Hard Candy Splendid. I dont have pics of that one though. It is a classic crayon yellow that is a creme. I love it!

SO, BIG NEWS:
I have my first order of konad plates in the mail and on their way to me! I ordered a 20 plate set, 2 additional plates, a stamper and a scraper! I am so so so beyond excited. Konad may be a big part of my designs in the future! I can not wait! I will warn you, they are not necessarily konad brand plates. I am not sure at this point what they are but they are discounted from amazon. They are not bundle monster they are mash. Whatever that means, I liked the price and the quality seemed good from the reviews, so, for 10 bucks, what the hey!

HAPPY POLISHING!

Pure Ice Outrageous!

Good Evening! Sorry for the short absence. I am finally back to updating. This will be my mani update for now. I plan on doing another update tomorrow. I do want to wish my Dad a happy 51st birthday today! Happy Birthday Dad!

On to the mani. I dont know how this was inspired other than a cool chrome pink that I picked up recently. I wanted it to be really noticeable so I figured, what better than black! Here are the pics!

Base color of SH Black Out
Over my base coat of Seche
and a coat of SH Hard As Wraps

Here is the completed mani.
The dots are Pure Ice Outrageous
A top coat of SV to seal it in.

I think my nails are looking pretty good and my cuticles are doing better! I have some somewhat nubbins right now because of some breaks. I was nursing them out past the tip of my nail bed and finally got a little length on them. So I got the guts up to file down the length. :-( Oh well, spoils of nail care war!

Happy Polishing!

Been sort of out of it! Working on a massive update!

I have sort of been out of the blogging loop due to some rather hectic things in my house involving rewiring and a new refrigerator and other busy body things that keep me from my hobbies. Well I am back. I have several hauls that I am working on the post for. One manicure and a new manicure I will be doing hopefully later today. I also have a surprise online order for you all! My skills are about to expand! I hope you like everything I will be posting later!

Happy Polishing!

NOTD: Polished Silver---Or So I Was Hoping!

So, after what felt like hundreds of failed attempts at a newspaper nail art mani, i gave up. I decided to play around with silver. I decided to use my new polish. I really really REALLY dont like how it turned out. Way better in my head! I did my ring and thumb as accent nails.

So in order of use:
Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps
Seche Clear Base Coat
Wet N Wild Metallica
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure
Wet N Wild Dancer
Seche Vite Top Coat

So, on the right of the screen is my ring finger with the
WnW dancer on it. You cant really see it. On the other two
is SH Hidden Treasure. You can not see it really in any
of the pics. All it came out looking like was a bunch of
bubbles!

Should have left the silver alone!

Disliked it so much I didnt bother cleaning up!

See how bubbly it looks!

Oh well, another day another manicure! I will do a better one next time!!

Happy Polishing!

Guest NOTD: Spring Flower Fest!

My very first Guest NOTD! My sister Alicia. She is almost as involved in nails as I am. This is her fast attempt at something new one night after work. This was around midnight mind you! I am not real sure of the colors she used but I will take a crack at it!

Started with a Seche Clear base coat
Pink: unsure but I am sure its a china glaze
Purple: China Glaze Spontaneous
White: Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Blue: China Glaze For Audrey
Yellow: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
And all is tipped with SH Hidden Treasure
Topped with SV.

Didn't clean up, but hey I think its cute!

Hope you like it. I have my NOTD post coming up when the pics get done loading. I will tell you it was a wonderful silver idea but I hate it! Lol, but you can be the judge when its up!]

Yesterday's Haul and Stash Storage!

Here is my haul from yesterday! All of this was bought on sale (with the exception of hard as wraps) at Walgreens!

In order of appearance:
SH In The Spotlight
SH Mellow Yellow
SH Pacific Blue
SH Mint Sorbet
SH Lacey Lilac
SH Blue Me Away!
SH Green With Envy
Wet and Wild Red Red
Wet and Wild Metallica
Sinful Colors Nail Junkie-----Lol go figure!
Sinful Colors Innocent
SH Hard As Wraps Gel Nail Strengthener

All of my polish swatches on numbered wheels.

Practice or test wheels. I had more I think but these
are the two that I have. The ones with pink dots
are my sister Alicia's work!

Top of my now full storage case.

With the top piece open.

The inside where polish is stored.

Might look messy but I can find anything I want in there!
Thanks to my numbered wheel system!

I am even using the extra space by the handle that
is not meant for storage! Ha ha!

This is part of my haul yesterday. It is called a tape donut!
Lol, the little door folds shut and I keep it in my polish case.

Hopefully you like my storage. I got this case at walmart on clearance. I am going to have to see if they have more. I filled it up way faster than I thought I would--- 8-O

Happy Polishing!

NOTD: Rainy Spring Blues

A recent haul (post forthcoming) led me to do a new manicure. While looking over my new beauties I couldn't choose between this bright blue or this bright green I got. I decided on the blue. How fitting as it was raining at the time. So, in this manicure you will see a blue base with a coat of SH Hidden Treasure, black tips and contrasting polka dot accents. here are the pics:

Shown in order of use:
Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps Gel Nail Hardener-1 coat
Seche Clear Base Coat-1 coat
SH Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away!-1 thick coat
SH Hidden Treasure-1 coat
SH Xtreme Wear in Black Out-1 coat
Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat-1 coat

No Flash in fluorescent light. You can really see the
SH Hidden Treasure's sparkle in this one. You can
even see the individual flakies. This is one coat of it.

With flash. The blue is a little brighter here than in life.

One of my favorite pics!

I hope you liked them. They were a little sloppy, but it was late and I was tired. Still a heck of a lot better this time around with the SH Hidden Treasure. I like it a lot better with blue than red.

You may have noticed my new prop. This is a "crystal" beaded necklace. I am assuming it is glass. I won it in one of those 50 cent claw machines. I put in a dollar and won it on the first try! Didnt win anything after that though. BUT, I am happy!

I will be posting pics of my most recent haul and my stash. I will also be updating my FAQ tips and tricks page.

Check back with me to see the new polishes!

WAHOOO! Celebrating 5 Followers!

Thank you very much followers! I now have 5 of you! I am so grateful! Welcome to Karma Polish! If you have questions for me, you can email me at karma.hasana13@yahoo.com. I will do my best to answer your questions or help you out.

What a way to celebrate today. I went to the same Walgreens that I found my SH Hidden Treasures at. Lo and behold, I found ANOTHER! I figure 2 is all I will ever need. But, as hard as they are to find, I decided to get it just in case. I also got some SH Extreme Wear colors. I am not sure which ones yet. I haven't logged them. I did my swatches and numbered them though. I am actually out of numbers! I have 105 polishes now. I have to have more number made! I think in just over a month I have gained around 50 polishes! YIKES! But hey, it was on sale.

Enough rambling.......

Thank you again to my 5 followers. I hope you like my posts. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

I will be doing a new manicure tonight. I will have the post and pics up tomorrow as well as pics of my recent hauls and maybe some pics of my storage.

MANY THANKS AGAIN!

I cant say it enough, THANK YOU!

Happy Polishing!

NOTD: Pink & Lavender Polka Dot Fun!

For this manicure I was feeling springy! I am so ready for easter to be a little closer so I can do my nails like easter eggs! So, I decided on polka dots, again! I am so into dots right now it is crazy! I chose 2 alternating base colors and a darker accent color for each and white.

Polishes used in order of use:
Seche Clear Base Coat
Alternated Pure Ice Tease &
China Glaze Tantalize Me
Polka Dots:
China Glaze Grape Pop
China Glaze Seduce Me
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Topped with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat

The lavender base (CG Tantalize Me) has a sort of blue
duo chrome effect. It is really hard to capture!

Sort of shows the duo chrome.

This shows the shimmer in the Pure Ice Tease.

Close up with no flash under fluorescent lights.

No Flash under fluorescent lights.

Flash under fluorescent lights. It washes out the red
(CG Seduce Me) polka dots. They get lost in the
pink (Pure Ice Tease).

I would say overall, this was a good manicure! I liked it and it was really rather easy to do! Other than the 4 coats of Pure Ice Tease that it took to get good coverage, it was easy and fast!

Happy Polishing!
