NOTD: Polished Silver---Or So I Was Hoping!

So, after what felt like hundreds of failed attempts at a newspaper nail art mani, i gave up. I decided to play around with silver. I decided to use my new polish. I really really REALLY dont like how it turned out. Way better in my head! I did my ring and thumb as accent nails.

So in order of use:
Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps
Seche Clear Base Coat
Wet N Wild Metallica
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure
Wet N Wild Dancer
Seche Vite Top Coat

So, on the right of the screen is my ring finger with the
WnW dancer on it. You cant really see it. On the other two
is SH Hidden Treasure. You can not see it really in any
of the pics. All it came out looking like was a bunch of
bubbles!

Should have left the silver alone!

Disliked it so much I didnt bother cleaning up!

See how bubbly it looks!

Oh well, another day another manicure! I will do a better one next time!!

Happy Polishing!

Guest NOTD: Spring Flower Fest!

My very first Guest NOTD! My sister Alicia. She is almost as involved in nails as I am. This is her fast attempt at something new one night after work. This was around midnight mind you! I am not real sure of the colors she used but I will take a crack at it!

Started with a Seche Clear base coat
Pink: unsure but I am sure its a china glaze
Purple: China Glaze Spontaneous
White: Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Blue: China Glaze For Audrey
Yellow: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
And all is tipped with SH Hidden Treasure
Topped with SV.

Didn't clean up, but hey I think its cute!

Hope you like it. I have my NOTD post coming up when the pics get done loading. I will tell you it was a wonderful silver idea but I hate it! Lol, but you can be the judge when its up!]

Happy Polishing!

NOTD: Rainy Spring Blues

A recent haul (post forthcoming) led me to do a new manicure. While looking over my new beauties I couldn't choose between this bright blue or this bright green I got. I decided on the blue. How fitting as it was raining at the time. So, in this manicure you will see a blue base with a coat of SH Hidden Treasure, black tips and contrasting polka dot accents. here are the pics:

Shown in order of use:
Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps Gel Nail Hardener-1 coat
Seche Clear Base Coat-1 coat
SH Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away!-1 thick coat
SH Hidden Treasure-1 coat
SH Xtreme Wear in Black Out-1 coat
Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat-1 coat

No Flash in fluorescent light. You can really see the
SH Hidden Treasure's sparkle in this one. You can
even see the individual flakies. This is one coat of it.

With flash. The blue is a little brighter here than in life.

One of my favorite pics!

I hope you liked them. They were a little sloppy, but it was late and I was tired. Still a heck of a lot better this time around with the SH Hidden Treasure. I like it a lot better with blue than red.

You may have noticed my new prop. This is a "crystal" beaded necklace. I am assuming it is glass. I won it in one of those 50 cent claw machines. I put in a dollar and won it on the first try! Didnt win anything after that though. BUT, I am happy!

I will be posting pics of my most recent haul and my stash. I will also be updating my FAQ tips and tricks page.

Check back with me to see the new polishes!

HAPPY POLISHING!
